Joe O'Neill Invitational Concessions Update
Hi Everyone,
The Joe O'Neill Invitational is just a week away! This is a huge fundraiser for our team. We are asking parents for donations of water and Gatorade to sell in the concessions stand. Please bring either a 12 pack of Gatorade or a Case of water to practice pick-up this week.
Gatorade
We are looking for the 12 ounce size of Gatorade. They sell them at Target: 12 pack for 5.99.
Water
16 ounce bottles (any brand will do)
We're looking to charge $1 for drinks which is why we need to be consistent with sizes :)
Aside from donations, we will need parents to help in the concessions, t-shirt sales, results/awards, and finish line areas.
Please email me and let me know your availability that afternoon: pooh1932@comcast.net

Hi Everyone,
We made the decision to CANCEL the CAR WASH that was scheduled for this Sunday. Too many kids are going to be away and we know from past experience that we need at least 20 bodies to make a car wash successful.
We still have the Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night scheduled for this Thursday October 7th. You can download and print the coupons with the link on the right.

Car Wash Update
Hi Again....it looks like we will have a smaller crew washing cars on Sunday. Lots of athletes have church obligations and several others are away.
Right now we are going forward with the car wash. In the past, we have made over $500 for the program in just a few hours. We welcome any parents who can lend a hand that morning. It's great exercise :) Coaches are not permitted to handle any cash, so we need a parent to handle that job as well. Please let us know if you are able to help on Sunday.
The forecast is calling for sunny skies and 62 degrees. We're confident that if we all pitch in we can make this car wash a success :)
Thanks!!

Change of Location for Parent Dinner/Meeting
Hi Everyone,
Apparently the Brandywine cafeteria was double booked for September 7th. We are going to keep the date we had originally planned and just move the location to Bellevue State Park. We will have our meeting in one of the pavilions at the conclusion of practice.
We realize that many of you will be coming from work, so we are going to put in a group order for pizza. Paris Pizza on Marsh Road has a Tuesday night special of $5 for a Large pie. If you would like to place an order with the group, please send in $5 on the day of the meeting and we will pick up the pizzas after practice. You can bring your own drinks (there is also a drink machine in the park).
