New Castle County Cross Country Championships Saturday November 1st

Hi Everyone.
All athletes need to fill out the online permission slip for the NCCXC race.  It can be found at the link below:

Also, parent volunteers are needed to help with parking that day.  All proceeds benefit N5CTA (the organization that runs the Joe O'Neill, NCC meet, and All State banquets).  All volunteers will receive a VIP parking pass for the day.  The shifts are one hour long.

There is NO bus.  Athletes must arrive at Winterthur 90 minutes before their scheduled race.

1. General Admission Parking is free. Please enter Gate 3 located on Rt. 52. Please note it is a country walk over hilly terrain to the team staging area.
   
   
2. Handicap Parking - Those displaying state-issued Handicap Parking credentials should enter Gate 3. Free handicap parking is along the fence near the 1 mile mark on the course.
   
   
3. Preferred Parking is available for $10 per car. Preferred Parking will enter Gate 5 off Rt. 52 and be located near the team staging area. Special hang tag will be sold in advance. Anyone not displaying this hang tag will not be permitted into this parking area and will be directed to the general admission parking. Hang tags will be distributed to coaches on your assigned practice day. Proceeds from Preferred Parking go to N5CTA.

The Conference meet is ON for this afternoon at Bellevue.  The school mistakenly read yesterday's announcement about practice being cancelled.  See previous post for  dismissal and race times.

Hi Everyone,
Thank You for making the Joe O'Neill Invitational such a huge success.  We greatly appreciate all the donations of water, gatorade, and bananas.  We had parents helping with course set-up, parents in the t-shirt/concessions stand, parents handling awards, and parents helping to clean up at the end of the day.  We sold out of shirts before the meet ended!  I will post how much money we made as soon as I receive the total.

Hi Everyone!

This is a busy week for BHSXC!  We are hosting the Joe O'Neill Invitational this Friday at Bellevue State Park.  BHS does NOT have school that day and there will be NO bus available.  We need all athletes to report to the park by 1PM on Friday.  Please let us know if this will be a problem for your family.  We will try our best to arrange carpools.

We will be collecting donations this week for our snack bar.  We will also need parents to help with the meet, concessions,  and t-shirt sales.  Please click HERE to sign up.
