Hi Everyone!
I hope you are doing well during these uncertain times. While we were unable to have our Spring Interest meeting for Cross Country, I hope that my returning runners will spread the word to any incoming freshmen who may be interested in cross country.
I know the one thing that has helped me during this pandemic is my time OUTSIDE. It's a perfect time to start training for the upcoming Cross Country season. We tweaked our summer training guide just a bit from last year. Click HERE for your copy. If you are just starting out after sitting on the couch for a few weeks, start with Beginners or Level 1. Some of you may have been training this entire time. You should start with Level 2. If you are unsure where to start, send me an email and I will help you determine where you should be.
We are unable to have any captains' runs this summer but as the restrictions ease, hopefully, you will be able to get together and run with friends.
Everyone will need a DIAA physical before the First Day of Preseason. Please schedule your appointments NOW. The form can be found HERE. If the Wellness Center opens for appointments, I will let you know.
