The Final Three Weeks!

Happy Sunday!

Thanks so much to everyone who pitched in to help at Thursday's Joe O'Neill Invitational.  I could not have pulled it off without all your help.  We had over 1000 athletes cross the finish line, so many Bulldog PR's, and our concessions and shirt sales were a success!

It's hard to believe that we are in the final stretch of our season.  See below for our upcoming schedule:

Monday 10/23:  Bellevue

2:30 bus on side of gym.  practice will end by 4:30-4:45

Tuesday 10/24:  School  2:45-4:15

Wednesday 10/25:  School 2:45-4:15

Thursday 10/26:  Blue Hen Conference Championships at Bellevue

Dismissal: 12:30  Departure: 12:45  Arrive at Bellevue: 1:00

There are only two races: 

Boys: 3:30pm

Girls: 4:00 pm

Awards: 4:45pm  Top 15 finishers make the All Conference Team

We are selling shirts (only 50) and running a very low key concessions.  We don't need any donations as we are selling the leftover candy and drinks and we have a volunteer picking up pretzels.  We DO need a few parents to help work shirts/concessions.  Please let us know if you are available.  Thanks!!

Friday 10/27:  No Practice.  30-40 minute Shake Out Run on your Own followed by stretching

Saturday 10/28: Brandywine Creek 8:00-9:30

Sunday 10/29:  DAY OF REST

Monday 10/30:  Bellevue

2:30 bus on side of gym.  practice will end by 4:30-4:45

Tuesday 10/31:  School  2:45-4:15

Wednesday 11/1:  Winterthur  

Bus will pick up on the side of the gym at 2:25.  Pick up is at Winterthur. Please enter Gate 2 for pick up.  Please let us know in the Band App if you would like us to arrange a Carpool to get you back to BHS after practice.

Thursday 11/2:  Bellevue

2:30 bus on side of gym.  practice will end by 4:30-4:45

Friday 11/3:  School 2:45-4:15

Saturday 11/4:  The New Castle County Championships at Winterthur

THERE IS NO BUS!  Athletes must arrive at Winterthur TWO hours before their

1:30 pm Old Timers:  If any parents are planning to run, let us know and we will give you a BHS jersey to wear.  You must register in advance.  Registration is FREE.  see above link for more info.

2:20 pm Girls JV

3:00 pm Boys JV

3:30 pm Girls Varsity

4:00 pm Boys Varsity

Parking Information:

General Admission Parking is FREE.  Enter Gate 2. Please note it is a

country walk over hilly terrain to the team staging area.

Handicap Parking - Those displaying state-issued Handicap Parking credentials should 

enter Gate 3. Free handicap parking is along the fence near the 1 mile mark on the course.

Preferred Parking is available for $10 per car. Preferred Parking will enter Gate 5 off Rt. 52

and be located near the team staging area. Special hang tag will be sold in advance

only. Anyone not displaying this hang tag will not be permitted into this parking area and will

be directed to the general admission parking. Hang tags will be distributed to coaches on your

assigned practice day. Proceeds from Preferred Parking go to N5CTA.

BHSXC Schedule Updates

Hi Everyone,

Below is our schedule for the next two weeks.  We are hosting a HUGE invitational on Thursday 10/19 at Bellevue and will need parents to donate items for the snack bar, sell shirts and concessions, and help with set-up and clean-up.  Click HERE to help.

Friday 10/6: Bellevue

The bus will pick up athletes on the side of the gym at 2:30.  There is NO RETURN BUS!  

Parents must pick up athletes at Bellevue  by 4:30-4:45.

Saturday 10/7:  Brandywine Creek State Park 8:00AM-9:30AM

Sunday 10/8:  DAY of REST

Monday 10/9:  School  Practice will end around 4:15

Tuesday 10/10:  Meet with Concord and Dickinson at Brandywine Creek 

First Race at 3:30.  

This is our Senior Celebration meet!  Please join us after for some light refreshments as we honor our seniors in their last regular competition.

Wednesday 10/11:  Bellevue

The bus will pick up athletes on the side of the gym at 2:30.  There is NO RETURN BUS!  

Parents must pick up athletes at Bellevue  by 4:30-4:45.

Thursday 10/12:  Brandywine Creek

The bus will pick up athletes on the side of the gym at 2:30.  There is NO RETURN BUS!  

Parents must pick up athletes at the Creek  by 4:30-4:45.

Friday 10/13:  Bellevue in the morning 8:00-9:30  THIS IS A CHANGE FROM ORIGINAL SCHEDULE

Saturday 10/14:  Run on your own  40-60 minutes followed by 4 Long striders

Sunday 10/15:  Day of Rest

Monday 10/16, Tuesday 10/17, Wednesday 10/18:  Bellevue
