DIAA State XC Championships

Hi Everyone!
The time schedule for the State Meet is below.  There is NO bus to Brandywine Creek.  Varsity Girls should arrive by 11:30. Varsity boys must report to the Creek no later than NOON.  We would like to see the ENTIRE TEAM at the meet to support BHSXC!  There will be traffic entering the park so please plan accordingly.

Division II Girls at 1:00 pm

 Division I Girls at 1:40 pm

 Division II Boys at 2:20 pm

 Division I Boys at 3:00 pm

 

Admission Policy

       I just confirmed with the DIAA director that there will NOT be an additional charge to enter the park.  The park will still charge their $3 fee if you do not have a state park sticker.

Friday's Pasta Party

Hi Everyone,
I'll be hosting the pasta party tomorrow night. I hope everyone can make it....invite is open for both JV and Varsity runners!

Flanagan  Pasta Party

Time: 6-8PM

Where:   1307 Chadwick Road Wilmington, DE 19803 (in Welshire)
 You can enter the neighborhood off of Shipley Road or Baynard Blvd.

What to Bring:

Freshmen: Bread
Soph/Senior: Fruit or Salad
Juniors: Dessert

JV runners please bring your freshly laundered jersey.  That will save me tracking you down later on :)

Last Week of the Season!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you have all thawed out after our CHILLY day at Winterthur.  Despite the cold temps, we had some terrific bulldog performances.

This week's schedule is below (we'd like the ENTIRE team to attend practices this week)

Monday 11/5:  9 AM at Brandywine Creek

Tuesday 11/6:  9 AM at Brandywine Creek

Wednesday 11/7:  School

Thursday 11/8:  Bellevue

Friday 11/9:  School
(Pasta party at Coach Flanagan's house.   Details coming soon)

Saturday 11/10:  State Meet at Brandywine Creek.  Schedule and details will follow in a later post.

New Castle County Championships

There is NO bus to the County meet. Athletes must arrive at least ONE hour before their scheduled race. If any parents are running the Old Timers race please let me know and I'll get you a BHS jersey to wear :)

PARKING/ GENERAL INFORMATION FOR SATURDAY

General Admission Parking is free. Please enter Gate 3 located on Rt. 52. Please note it is a country walk over hilly terrain to the team staging area.

Handicap Parking - Those displaying state-issued Handicap Parking credentials should enter Gate 5.

Preferred Parking is available for $10 per car. Preferred Parking will enter Gate 5 off Rt. 52 and be located near the team staging area. Special hang tag will be sold in advance. Anyone not displaying this hang tag will not be permitted into this parking area and will be directed to the general admission parking. Hang tags will be distributed to coaches on your assigned practice day. Proceeds from Preferred Parking go to N5CTA.
I will have Preferred Parking Passes for sale at Friday's Practice.

NO DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS.

There will be t-shirts and concessions.
