Preseason Information

Hi Everyone!
Practice starts in just three weeks!  Please see below for some important reminders:

*  Everyone must have a current physical (dated AFTER 4/1/19) on file with the BHS nurse BEFORE the first day of practice. Please take care of this ASAP!  Click HERE for Wellness center hours and a  link to the DIAA form.

*  If you have not started running yet, it's not too late to build a base before our first day of practice.  Click HERE for a guide to summer running.

*  The Monday night summer workouts will continue for the next few weeks. 

Monday Workouts at Brandywine H.S. 
Arrival Time: 6pm
Workout starts at 6:30
BHS coaches do NOT run this workout.  A parent volunteer from Padua heads them up.  It's a great opportunity to learn how to pace yourself in a 5K.  This workout is open to all middle  and high school runners.

Wednesday Runs
I will not be available the next few Wednesdays.  If you want to meet at Bellevue for a run, make sure you contact other teammates before heading out. 

We have started a group using the Remind app.  It's a great way to contact teammates and to send out messages quickly to the group.  If you have not signed up yet, download the Remind app from the App store and use the following link:

*  On Thursday August 29th, we will will be participating in the 10th Annual Scrimmage Playdate for Cancer.  Boys Race is 3:45 followed by Girls at 4:15.  After the Scrimmage, Maisie's parents have graciously offered to have us all at Shellcrest Pool for a Pool Party.

No Group Run Tonight

Hi Everyone!
It’s going to be HOT 🥵 the next few days.  Dr. Holidick has canceled all organized activities for the district:


Stay hydrated and try to get your runs in early in the morning or later in the evening.  Might be a good idea to hit the bike or treadmill in the gym or do a little cross training in the pool!
