 Hi Everyone.

Just some reminders about tomorrow's meet.

Friday 10/21:  Killens Invitational at Killens Pond State Park, Felton DE

Depart Time: 12:00pm

Make sure you eat 1st or 2nd LUNCH.  The bus is leaving at noon so give yourself time to eat, change, and be seated on the bus by 12:00.

Race Times:    

 Varsity Boys   3:30 PM: Andres, Drew, Max, Thomas, Graham, Brady, Kieran

                         

Varsity Girls    3:50 PM:  Angelina, Izzy, Celia

                         

JV BOYS          4:10 PM: Hobie, Aidan, Gus, Will, Eli, Stephen, Nathaniel, Preston

                       

 JV GIRLS          4:30 PM: Eva, Bella, Daniela, Melany, Liana, Savannah, Fiona & Deanna

Fill up your WATER BOTTLE before you leave school.  I am not bringing the big cooler.  I will give everyone a gatorade as they get on the bus to drink after your race.

Please DRESS WARMLY!!! Bring a blanket. Wear sweatpants, hoodies, winter jackets.  When the sun goes down and we are waiting for the bus, you will be thankful for the extra layers.

We are NOT stopping for food on the way home and there are NO CONCESSIONS.  I will have a large box of Belvitas and some bananas.  Pack any other snacks you may want to sustain you until you get home.

Saturday 10/22- NO PRACTICE...Easy shakeout run on your own 30-45 minutes

BHSXC Week TEN!

 Hi Everyone!

A BIG Thank You to everyone who pitched in to make the Joe O'Neill Invitational a success.  It is a huge undertaking and I could not have pulled it off without all your help. All profits from shirts and concessions go right back to our program.  

We had 11 Bulldog PR's on Friday.  Congrats to Angelina, Max, Andres, Izzy, Will, Gus, Grace, Aidan, Liana, Melany, and Preston.  Angelina was our Top Bulldog  finishing 11th overall in the Girls' Varsity race with a time of 19:37.  Izzy also nabbed one of the coveted award shirts with her 32nd place finish (out of 176) clocking 21:06.

Cieckos are providing everything.  Athletes just need to bring themselves.

We will work to organize Carpools to the Dinner.  If you are a parent with a minivan and would like to help, let us know.

I am the meet director for this meet.  We made the decision to let Concord have the concessions and shirt sales since they are in need of a fundraiser.  I could use some help in the finish chute that day keeping runners moving after they cross the line.  We could also use help with clean-up. Joe O'Neill Invitational

 

Hi everyone!

Tomorrow is our BIG DAY!  Thanks for everyone who signed up to help.  We have had a few parents call out sick so we may need some extra hands selling shirts and concessions.

Athletes please arrive at the park no later than 1:00 pm.  We have a record number of teams and there will be delays getting into the park.

After the last race, we will need help taking down the caution tape at the finish area.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is on Friday!  Thanks to everyone who signed up to help.  For those who signed up to bring gatorade and water, you can drop off cases at the end of practice this week OR bring to the meet Friday by 1:00.

There are over 40 teams registered and traffic will be brutal.  Please plan to arrive by 1pm. The parking lots fill up quickly and traffic will be backed up on Carr Road.

We will be set up in the pavilion to the right after crossing the bridge.

BHSXC Week 8

 Hi Everyone!

I hope you all stayed warm and dry this weekend.  We had a great week of training with wins against McKean and Howard on Wednesday.  Kudos to Andres, Brady, Celia, Hobie, Stephen, Eva, Grace and Savannah for running PRs at Bellevue despite having to circle a tree that was NOT on the course :)

• The Joe O'Neill XC Invitational is Friday October 14th.  I am the meet director and our XC program gets proceeds from t-shirts and concessions.  We will need lots of help to pull this off.  Please sign up HERE  if you are able to pitch in.  Thanks!

Schedule Changes

 Hi Everyone.

We have a few schedule changes:

*  We are canceling practice on Saturday morning.  With the remnants of Ian headed our way and lots of colds making the rounds, we'd rather everyone stay warm and dry.  We will have the breakfast another day.

*  IF WE ARE ABLE TO GET A BUS....We are adding a meet to our schedule on Wednesday October 5th.  We originally thought our meet with Dickinson and Concord was being moved to this week but that meet is staying put so we have an opening.  We will be traveling to Salisbury MD for the Tidewater Fall Classic.  It's a fast flat course.  There's no school that day.  If approved the bus will be leaving BHS around 11:45.  I put in the request today.  We should know by tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.
