BHSXC Three Weeks to Go!

 Hi Everyone,

It's hard to believe we only have three meets left this season!  There is a lot of information in this post.  Please take the time to read through everything.

All team members will run the Blue Hen Conference Championships and the New Castle County Championships.  There is NO JV at the State Championship meet. We are limited to 7 runners in each race and those runners must meet the following time standards:  Boys: Sub 23 minutes   Girls:  Sub 27 minutes

Tuesday 10/25: Bellevue

Wednesday 10/26: School

Thursday 10/27:  Blue Hen Conference Championships:  Bellevue

Dismissal Time: 1:00pm
Depart Time: 1:15pm
Depart Location: BHS Gym

I am the meet director for this meet.  We made the decision to let Concord have the concessions and shirt sales since they are in need of a fundraiser.  I could use some help in the finish chute that day keeping runners moving after they cross the line.  We could also use help with clean-up. Thanks!

Meet on the track by 2: 45. Practice will end by 4:15

Tuesday 11/1:  Bellevue

Meet on the side of the gym by 2:30 for the bus.  Pickup at Bellevue.  

Practice will end by 4:30-4:45

Wednesday 11/2:  WINTERTHUR

Comments: Depart BHS at 2:30 pm; One Way Trip
Depart Time: 2:30pm
Depart Location: BHS Gym

There is NO RETURN bus from our Winterthur Practice.  

Please let me know through the REMIND app if you would like us to arrange a carpool

for your athlete back to school.  

Practice Parking – On Wednesday, all traffic should enter Gate 2 off of Rt 52 and park in the

adjacent field.

Parking Information:

General Admission Parking is FREE.  Enter Gate 2. Please note it is a

country walk over hilly terrain to the team staging area.

Handicap Parking - Those displaying state-issued Handicap Parking credentials should enter

Gate 3. Free handicap parking is along the fence near the 1 mile mark on the course.

Preferred Parking is available for $10 per car. Preferred Parking will enter Gate 5 off Rt. 52

and be located near the team staging area. Special hang tag will be sold in advance

only. Anyone not displaying this hang tag will not be permitted into this parking area and will

be directed to the general admission parking. Hang tags will be distributed to coaches on your

assigned practice day. Proceeds from Preferred Parking go to N5CTA.
