BHSXC Week 8

 Hi Everyone.

A delayed Shout Out to both teams for defeating Howard and McKean on Tuesday.  Kudos to Clayton who passed 3 runners in the last mile to secure the victory for the boys! 

I hope that all of our sick athletes are feeling better as we head into a new week.  See below for this week's schedule:

Monday 9/30:  Practice at Bellevue  Dismissal 2PM  Bus leaves at 2:05

Please head right to the bus.  You can change at Bellevue

Practice will end by 4:30.  

Tuesday 10/1:  SCHOOL

Meet on the track by 2:45.  Practice will end by 4:15

Wednesday 10/2:  Tidewater Classic, Salisbury MD

This MAY CHANGE.  Right now, dismissal is at 11:45 with a 12:00 departure.  We will let you know if this time changes.

Thursday 10/3:  NO SCHOOL

Please run a 30-40 minute shake out run on your own 

Friday 10/4:  Practice at Brandywine Creek  Dismissal 1:45.  Bus leaves at 2:00

Saturday 10/5:  Practice at Bellevue 10AM  Practice will end by 11:45 AM

BHSXC Week 7

 Hi Everyone!

Hope you all enjoyed the first Evening XC race ever held in Delaware.  Everyone crushed their goals and we are so proud of you!  Kudos to Angelina for finishing 8th place overall in the girls' Varsity race.  She is 3 for 3 on Invitational medals.

Tuesday 9/24:  Meet with McKean/Howard at Bellevue

Dismissal 1:40.  Bus leaves at 2:00.  Race time 3:30.  

(the McKean coach has requested that the meet start earlier...possibly 3:00.

If not attending the meet, pick up is at the park at 4:30.

Parents, if you are planning on attending today's meet at Lum's Pond, the XC start/finish area is located in Area One.  Continue all the way down the road after passing the fee office and look for signs.

BHSXC Week Five

 Happy Sunday, Bulldogs!

I hope you are all enjoying this day of rest.  We are back at it tomorrow with our meet against Hodgson so don't forget to wash those uniforms and pack them in your bags in the morning.

Congrats to everyone who competed yesterday!  We are so proud of you, especially those who crossed the finish line for the first time at a high school xc meet!  Kudos to Angelina who finished 9th in the Junior Race winning her first medal of the season.  Angelina was the third Delaware finisher among all four races.

We will be setting up our camp in the pavilion across the bridge closest to the start/finish area.

BHSXC Week Four

 Hi Everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.  We have our first meet this coming Saturday.  Athletes will be given a team jersey to wear.  You must wear your own solid BLACK shorts with the uniform.  See Coach Flanagan with any questions.
