Practice Cancelled for Tuesday November 10th

Hi Everyone,
The rain is pretty steady right now.  We have made decision to CANCEL.  Since it's the week of States, we don't want anyone to get sick.  And really, as Coach McCoy likes to say...."The Hay is in the Barn!"  The most important thing this week is to stay healthy and visualize running your perfect race at States.

So go home, hydrate, stretch a little and get to bed early!!

See everyone tomorrow morning at 9AM at the Creek!!

Cross Country Service Project

Hi Everyone,
As you know, our service project that was scheduled at the Mary Campbell Center earlier this season was cancelled because the Dinosaur for Dinosaur Days was sent to the wrong state.  Today at practice we dicussed running the Reindeer Run that benefits Special Olympics.  Our athletic director just approved this as our new "service project."  We will be using our XC legs to support a great cause!

The race is Friday, December 4th in Newark, DE.   Start time 7PM.  Click HERE for race details.

Race registration includes a great long sleeved t-shirt and lots of delicious munchies after the race.

Let us know this week if you are able to participate in the race. We can arrange carpools if needed.    Parents are encouraged to run too!  It's one of my favorite 5K's of the year.  Very Festive and Fun!  The entire course is lined with luminaries.  And it's Fast and FLAT :)

Hi Everyone!
I cannot believe this is our LAST week of cross country practice!  Time flies when you are working hard and having fun!  We had a GREAT day at Winterthur on Saturday.  Lots of personal records set on a very challenging course.  Congrats to Alexa for making the All County Team!!

Although we can only run 7 boys in Saturday's State Meet, we would like all the JV runners to continue practicing with us.

All athletes must fill out an On-Line Permission form.  Please click HERE for information. You can also register for the Old Timer's Race (it's FREE)

They are in need of some parent volunteers to help with parking on Saturday.  If you are available to help, please sign up HERE.  All volunteers receive a FREE Preferred Parking Pass.

General Admission Parking is free. Please enter Gate 3 located on Rt. 52. Please note it is a country walk over hilly terrain to the team staging area.  

 Handicap Parking - Those displaying state-issued Handicap Parking credentials should enter 

Gate 3. Free handicap parking is along the fence near the 1 mile mark on the course.

 Preferred Parking is available for $10 per car.  Preferred Parking will enter Gate 5 off Rt. 52 and be located near the team staging area.  Special hang tag will be sold in advance.  Anyone not displaying this hang tag will not be permitted into this parking area and will be directed to the general admission parking.  Hang tags will be distributed to coaches on your assigned practice day.  Proceeds from Preferred Parking go to N5CTA.
