As you know, our service project that was scheduled at the Mary Campbell Center earlier this season was cancelled because the Dinosaur for Dinosaur Days was sent to the wrong state. Today at practice we dicussed running the Reindeer Run that benefits Special Olympics. Our athletic director just approved this as our new "service project." We will be using our XC legs to support a great cause!
Race registration includes a great long sleeved t-shirt and lots of delicious munchies after the race.
Let us know this week if you are able to participate in the race. We can arrange carpools if needed. Parents are encouraged to run too! It's one of my favorite 5K's of the year. Very Festive and Fun! The entire course is lined with luminaries. And it's Fast and FLAT :)
