Schedule Changes

 Hi Everyone.

We have a few schedule changes:

*  We are canceling practice on Saturday morning.  With the remnants of Ian headed our way and lots of colds making the rounds, we'd rather everyone stay warm and dry.  We will have the breakfast another day.

IF WE ARE ABLE TO GET A BUS....We are adding a meet to our schedule on Wednesday October 5th.  We originally thought our meet with Dickinson and Concord was being moved to this week but that meet is staying put so we have an opening.  We will be traveling to Salisbury MD for the Tidewater Fall Classic.  It's a fast flat course.  There's no school that day.  If approved the bus will be leaving BHS around 11:45.  I put in the request today.  We should know by tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.

Meet information can be found HERE.

Week Four BHSXC

 Hi Everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.  See below for what's happening this week:

**For those athletes who signed up to run XC at the Food Truck event:  you have until Friday September 9th to get your DIAA sports physical turned in to the Nurse.  After that date, we will not be able to take on any new team members.

**SHOES:  please make sure your shoes are in good condition.  When aches and pains and shin splits pop up, many can be traced to what's on your feet.  If you need to purchase new running shoes for the season, visit the Delaware Running Company.  They have the best selection around and are staffed by knowledgeable runners.  They also offer discounts to high school runners.  Be sure to tell them you run XC for BHS.  Click HERE for  store location and hours. It's recommended that shoes be replaced every 300 miles.  So if you're still running in last season's shoes, it's time for a new pair!

**Buses:  just a reminder that buses are ONE WAY for Bellevue/Creek practices and  meets.  Parents must pick up athletes at the park after practices or local meets.  When we travel longer distances for meets (ex: Unionville, Middletown...) the bus will bring athletes back to the school.

**All athletes need a solid black pair of running shorts to wear for competitions. We will be issuing a team jersey to wear with the black shorts.
