The time schedule for the Sallies Invitational is below. There will NOT be a bus to the meet. Athletes must arrive at Brandywine Creek State Park at least ONE HOUR prior to their races. Please allow for travel time since the park will be crowded.
SCHEDULE:
1:00 – Boys Freshmen
1:20 – Girls JV “B”
1:40 – Girls JV “A”
2:00 – Boys JV “C”
2:20 – Boys JV “B”
2:40 – Boys JV “A”
3:00 – Girls Varsity “Small”
3:20 – Girls Varsity “Large”
4:00 – Boys Varsity “Small”
4:20 – Boys Varsity “Large”
4:40 – Boys“ Championship
All freshmen boys will compete in the Freshmen Race. We will find out our JV divisions when we pick up our packet on Saturday. Assume we are in the EARLIER races. We should be in SMALL school Varsity division.
We will set up our tent at the top of the hill along the rock wall.
Andrew Gross is hosting a pasta party on Friday night.

Hi Everyone,
We had a great day at the Bulldog Invitational on Saturday. The girls finished 5th in the small schools division and the boys finished 7th. Congrats to Haley Belcher, Megary McCoy, Jasmine Soward, Andrew Tyris, and Eamon McCoy for winning medals in their races!

Dismissal 1PM....Bus leaves BHS at 1:10

Directions to my house from Brandywine:
Make a left out of the parking lot. Go up Foulk Road to Shipley Road and make a left. Go past the traffic light (Wilson Road), and the second street on the right is Dakota Avenue (this is Shipley Heights). Make the first right onto Glenwood Avenue, and make a left at the stop sign onto Gunning Drive. Follow the road around the corner which turns into Bedford BLVD, and we are the first house on the right.
P.S - Bring a twister mat if you have one!
Saturday we are heading to Rose Tree Park in Media for the Bulldog Invitational. All athletes must arrive at BHS by 6:50AM. The bus is pulling out at 7AM!
Attention parents: This is a fantastic spectator course! You will see the kids at all three mile marks without breaking a sweat :)
Directions and Time schedule are below:
From US Route 1:
• Take Route 1 to the Media/Route 252 exit.
• Follow Route 252 north for approximately 1/4 mile.
• The entrance for the park is on the right just past the first light.
From I 95:
• Follow I95 to the I476 (Blue Route)exit.
• Follow the signs toward Plymouth Meeting.
• Stay on I476 for about 5 miles to the Lima/Springfield Route 1 exit.
• Follow the signs toward Lima. This will place you on Route 1 South.
• Take Route 1 to the Media/Route 252 exit.
• Follow Route 252 north for approximately 1/4 mile.
• The entrance for the park is on the right just past the first light.

Hi Everyone!
We had a great day at the Viking Classic on Friday! It was nice to see so many parents out on the course. Despite the very muddy stretch before the first mile, the bulldogs turned in a slew of personal records! Bulldog times are posted on the right of the blog under 2011 results.

A few reminders as we head into the weekend:

** Friday: Viking XC Invitational : White Clay Creek, Newark
UPDATE: Dismissal 12:45 PM/Bus leaves BHS at 1:00
(sorry for late notice...we just found out about early bus this morning. There will be an announcement at school for the athletes)
Schedule of races is below:
This meet is formatted so that boys and girls will run together per each grade. Separate finish lines for boys and girls will determine individual and team results per gender. Teams are asked to report to the starting line at least 15 minutes in advance of scheduled start as races may run ahead.
2:00- Course walk. Please clear the racecourse by 2:45
2:45- Coaches meeting in the pavilion. Please pickup team packet upon arrival
3:00- Freshman Boys & Girls
3:30- Sophomore Boys & Girls
4:00- Junior Boys & Girls
4:30- Senior Boys & Girls
5:15- Awards
**Saturday: NO practice....easy running on your own
**Sunday: Attention Athletes...Volunteers needed for CYM XC meet at Bellevue....Arrival time 12:30 PM...meet by Pavilion next to pond. First race is at 1:30PM.
(Since Sunday is a DISTANCE day on your own, why not arrange to run with a teammate either before or after volunteering :))

We had a great day at the Lake Forest Invitational. Despite the heat, we had lots of PR's!

Wednesday 9/14: UPDATE: Dickinson does NOT have a XC team so we will be staying at SCHOOL for practice.

Dismissal 1:00/ Bus leaves 1:15
Saturday 9/17: OFF...easy running on own
On Sunday 9/18, we are looking for volunteers to help with a CYM cross country meet at Bellevue from 12-2PM. Let Coach Flanagan know if you are able to help!
