Hi Everyone!
I hope you are excited as I am to start XC preseason. A few reminders:
* Monday August 12th is Administration Day: a chance to fulfill obligations and turn in your physical. I spoke to Mr. Shea, our athletic director, and he is letting the XC team report earlier than scheduled so we can get our practice in before it gets too hot. Please check in with Mr. Shea and meet on the track at BHS by 8:45. You must have a current physical on file with the nurse in order to practice so please make sure you have all your paperwork with you and that it is signed in all the correct places.
Tuesday 8/13: Bellevue State Park 8:30
We meet at the picnic tables near the barn, track and the bathrooms. Practice will typically last 1.5 - 2 hours. We will not leave anyone alone at the park so a prompt pick-up (ride should be back at park by 10:15) is greatly appreciated!
We will be practicing at State Parks several days a week during the season. There is a daily $4 charge for cars entering the park. I highly recommend all parents or student drivers to purchase an annual pass. Click HERE for more info on where to purchase.
Wednesday 8/14: Bellevue State Park 8:30
* Meet the Coaches Night originally scheduled for 8/14 has been rescheduled for August 28th. This night is for all coaches, athletes, and parents
