Week of 10/30-11/5

Hi Everyone!
It's hard to believe we only have two weeks left of our season.  The entire team will run the New Castle County Championships on Saturday 11/4.  The following weekend, is the DIAA State Championships.  We are limited in our entries for that race and will let the team know who is racing after our County meet.

See below for this week's schedule:

Monday 10/30:  Brandywine Creek State Park
We are retaking our SENIOR pictures this day.  All seniors, please wear your senior shirt to practice.  We are also playing TAG!!!

Return Time: 4:45pm

Est Return to School: 5:00pm


Tuesday 10/31 SCHOOL
Meet on the track by 2:45.  Practice will end by 4:15

Wednesday 11/1Winterthur
Course preview for the New Castle County Championships
Depart Time: 2:45pm
Depart Location: BHS gym
Return Time: 4:45pm
Return Location: Winterthur Estate
Est Return to School: 5:10pm


Thursday 11/2:  SCHOOL
Meet on the track by 2:45.  Practice will end by 4:15

Saturday 11/4:  
New Castle County Championships at Winterthur Estate

City/Claymont Pick-up starts at 12:00

Depart Time from BHS: 12:30 pm
Depart Location: Bus Stops
Return Time: 4:30pm
Return Location: Winterthur Estate
Est Return to School: 5:00pm



Time Schedule

1:00 pm Tents available for high school athletes

1:30 pm Old Timers Race – open to alumni, coaches, parents and friends

2:30 pm Girls Junior Varsity
3:00 pm Boys Junior Varsity
3:30 pm Girls Varsity
4:00 pm Boys Varsity
4:30 pm Awards Ceremony


Information for Spectators:

*  General Admission Parking is free. 
*  Please enter Gate 3 located on Rt. 52. 

** Please note it is a country walk over hilly terrain to the team staging area.



Handicap Parking -
Those displaying state-issued Handicap Parking credentials 
should enter Gate 3. 
Free handicap parking is along the fence near the 1 mile mark on the course.

Preferred Parking is available for $10 per car. 
**Preferred Parking will enter Gate 5 off Rt. 52 and be located near
the team staging area. 
**Special hang tag will be sold in advance
Anyone not displaying this hang tag will not be permitted into this parking area 
and will be directed to the general admission parking.

 Hang tags will be distributed to coaches on your assigned practice day. Proceeds from
Preferred Parking go to N5CTA. 

 Please send in $10 by WEDNESDAY if you would like to purchase a Preferred 
Parking Pass.

Saturday/Sunday 11/5-11/6:  No Practice

Please run on your own.
See below for Weekend guidelines:
Saturday:  Shake out Run:  30-45 minutes
Sunday:  Longer run 50-70 minutes each day.
