Hi Everyone!
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the parents who helped with yesterday's Joe O'Neill Invitational. Donations, Shirt Sales, Concessions, Finish Chute, Clean-up...It takes a village and I couldn't have pulled it off without all of you! I hope everyone is enjoying a well deserved day of rest after yesterday's meet.
A few announcements before I post our upcoming schedule:
Team Dinner Hosted by Ethan's Family:
When: Monday October 19th immediately after practice
Where: 102 Nichols Avenue Wilmington, DE 19803
We are practicing at Bellevue on Monday so parents can pick up at the park by 4:30 and drop off your athletes to the dinner :)
Senior Recognition
We will be celebrating our Seniors at our last regular meet of the season this Wednesday October 21st when we race District rivals Concord and Mount Pleasant. We invite all parents to join in honoring the hard work these seven seniors have put in over the years! There will be light refreshments after the meet and a photo shoot with our Seniors and their parents.
Reindeer Run for Special Olympics

Race Start: 7:00 p.m.
Every Sports Team at BHS supports a Charity of their choosing. The XC team is once again supporting Special Olympics Delaware by participating in the Reindeer Run. We encourage all athletes and family members to join us. There is a 5K run and a 5K Walk so all are welcome! There is EARLY BIRD PRICING for the Race that Ends on 10/31. CLICK HERE FOR OUR TEAM PAGE. For the parents or family members planning to WALK with us, if you want to be Timed, sign up as a RUNNER. If you choose Walker, you will not get an official finishing time.
Tuesday 10/20: School: meet on track by 2:45. Practice will end by 4:15
Wednesday 10/21: District Meet at Bellevue & Senior Celebration
1:45 Dismissal/Bus leaves at 2PM/Race Time 3:30
We will celebrate our Seniors after the meet with both Mount Pleasant and Concord
Thursday 10/22: School
meet on track by 2:45. Practice will end by 4:15
Friday 10/23: School
meet on track by 2:45. Practice will end by 4:15
Saturday 10/24: Bellevue Scavenger Hunt 8AM Pickup: 9:45
Brunch afterwards at Nate's house. Details to follow
Monday 10/26: Bellevue
1:45 Dismissal/Bus leaves at 2PM/ 4:30 pickup from Park
Tuesday 10/27 and Wednesday 10/28: SCHOOL
Meet on track by 2:45. Practice will end by 4:15
Thursday 10/29: Blue Hen Conference Championships at Bellevue
